Right now, I’m sitting in my apartment in London losing a game of siege warfare against my possessions. I’ve been trying (and failing) to fill out U.S. customs forms for a move since this morning, and I just resorted to eating chocolate cake because I think I convinced myself after reading a tangentially related medical study once it made people smarter.
It definitely does not feel like the night before a book launch.
Which it is! Because starting tomorrow, Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong is going to be running online and will be updating Monday through Friday so you can get a daily fix of teenagers making bad life choices while wondering, “Wait. How much of real life did Pru draw on in order to write this story?” (Answer: I can’t tell you because my Mom knows this URL.) If you’ve always wanted a graphic novel with kickass art by Faith Erin Hicks exploring the consequences of bloodthirsty behavior in student body elections, the applied properties of weedkiller to high school football fields, and borderline grand theft auto, this is definitely the story for you, buddy.
It’s been a labor of love and a long time coming, and I hope you love it as much as I do. Also, come on, check out the amount of abject hubris that’s been injected into the book title. You have to be impressed by that, right?
Check this site again tomorrow to find out how you can read along!
